Eagles breeze to 3-0 victory on volleyball court
FRANKENMUTH -- A league showdown in the TVC East proved to be a one-sided affair, as Frankenmuth defended their home court en route to a straight-sets victory over visiting Garber.
The Dukes trailed in the final set, 19-13, before embarking on a mini-run to close the gap to just three. But with their lead getting trimmed, the Eagles got right back to work and immediately embarked on a 6-0 run which would close out the game. An ace by Nicole DeGrace put the finishing touches on an impressive win for Frankenmuth.
