Monroe leads Pistons with 15 points
MIAMI, FL (AP) -- LeBron James scored 18 points in the final game before he heads back to Cleveland as an opponent, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh each added 16 and the Miami Heat rolled past the Detroit Pistons, 97-72 on Wednesday night.
Miami visits Cleveland on Thursday, James' first trip back to his former arena as an opposing player.
It wasn't a distraction on Wednesday. The Heat held Detroit to nine points in the third quarter, turning the game into a rout.
Juwan Howard scored 12 and Eddie House added 10 for Miami.
Greg Monroe scored 15 for Detroit, which didn't have any starter reach double figures.
