Chargers' treacherous schedule continues Friday
MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP -- The Flint Powers basketball team trudged through a difficult schedule on its way to a state championship in 2009.
The same trend held true last winter, and the same will hold true this season.
"We want to play anybody. Any 'A' school, 'B' school, any school that we could play to get better for the tournament. We take it one game at a time, and that's what these guys do. They're committed to win one game at a time," says Herman, who takes his Chargers on the road to Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard Friday night.
Flint Powers features another loaded roster. Patrick Lucas-Perry is back for his fourth year as a starter, and fellow guard Vince Adams ignited for 26 points in the season-opening win over Flint Northwestern.
