MT. PLEASANT (AP) -- Vaughn Duggins scored 13 points and Wright State repelled a late rally by Central Michigan to win 53-49 Tuesday night.

Duggins also had six rebounds and three assists for the Raiders (6-5), who led 35-26 with 15:03 left but watched the Chippewas (2-7) use a 13-1 run to tie it at 45 with 7:27 left.

Baskets by Cooper Land and Duggins then made it 49-45. The Chippewas came within 50-49 but could get no closer.

N'Gai Evans and A.J. Pacher added nine points apiece for Wright State.

Jalin Thomas scored 17 points, including four 3-pointers, for Central Michigan. Derek Jackson added 12 points, and William McClure grabbed 10 rebounds despite going scoreless.

Wright State dominated inside, with a 37-19 rebounding advantage and a 30-10 edge in points in the paint. The Raiders also outshot the Chippewas 50.0 percent (19 of 38) to 34.0 percent (16 of 47).
