Flint Powers trounces Linden 70-27
FENTON -- The Fenton boys basketball team took over sole possession of first place in the Flint Metro Conference Tuesday night with a 55-44 win over rival Holly, at Fenton High School.
The Bronchos had won eight games in-a-row coming in, while the Tigers were trying to bounce back from Friday's disappointing 70-55 loss to Lapeer West.
In Linden, Flint Powers toppled the host Eagles 70-27.
Patrick Lucas-Perry had 15 points for the Chargers, who were coming off Friday's upset loss at Carman-Ainsworth.
Javontae Hawkins added 12 points, as head coach Tim Herman was able to use bench players down the stretch.
