Bears close out regular season on Friday evening

FLINT -- Sam Burton had 18 points and five assists and the Mott Bears crushed Schoolcraft College 92-54 Wednesday night at Ballenger Field House.

Doug Anderson added 16 points for the Bears, highlighted by an electrifying alley-oop dunk midway through the first half.

Sophomore guard Demetrius Miller spotted Anderson near the Mott basket, and launched a left handed pass three-fourths the length of the court to Anderson, who promptly threw the ball through the hoop.

Mott can clinch the MCCAA Eastern Division title with a win Friday night at Kirtland Community College.

The game was originally scheduled for Monday night, but was postponed because of last weekend's snowstorm. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
