Jones, Nichols lead attack in 55-37 victory over Johnstown

SAGINAW -- A first-half outburst turned a 7-7 deadlock into a three-touchdown lead for the Saginaw Sting, and the home team never looked back en route to a 55-37 victory over the Johnstown Generals on Friday night from the Dow Event Center.

With the win, the Sting improve to 7-3 and keep pace with first-place Northern Kentucky, while inching closer to securing a playoff berth.  The victory sets up a huge showdown with the aforementioned River Monsters next Friday night at The Dow, with a 7:30 kickoff scheduled.
