TOPEKA, KS -- Three 3rd period goals by the Fairbanks Ice Dogs propelled the Ice Dogs past the Michigan Warriors 4-2 in the 2011 Robertson Cup Championship game tonight in Topeka Kansas.

The Warriors goal goals in the first period by Brad Chapman and Chris Eckler to push ahead of the Ice Dogs, and the Warriors held a 2-1 advantage heading into the 3rd period.  However, Michigan was outshot 11-5 in the final frame, as the Ice Dogs pressured Warriors goaltender Robert Tadazak, who made 27 saves in the losing effort.
