Panthers face Clarkston Everest on Saturday

GENESEE TOWNSHIP -- Update 3:00 p.m. Monday

Saginaw Nouvel will face Madison Heights Bishop Foley at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Troy Athens High School in the Division 4 State Semifinals.

Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian takes on Lansing Christian in the other Div. 4 semifinal.


Mackenzie Smith scored four goals and Nouvel Catholic Central breezed into the Division 4 State Quarterfinals in girls soccer ,thanks to an 8-0 victory over Harbor Beach at Kearsley High School Wednesday night.

Smith had two goals by halftime, and the Panthers were already well on their way to a win, leading the Pirates 6-0.

The referees stopped the game with about 19 minutes remaining, after Nouvel scored its eighth goal.

Nouvel takes on Clarkston Everest, Saturday at 3 p.m. at Kearsley High School.
