Late goal gives Chargers 2-1 victory over Detroit Country Day
WILLIAMSTON -- Flint Powers advances to the Division 3 state championship game, thanks to a 2-1 victory over rival Detroit Country Day.
The Chargers went out to an early lead thanks to a goal by junior Addisen Carino.
Powers sealed the game in the final minutes thanks to a goal by senior Brittany Tenis.
Flint Powers will take on Hudsonville Unity Christian in the finals on Saturday afternoon at Michigan State University.
