Flint Northwestern nets first win of 2011-12
MT. MORRIS TWP. -- Beecher cruised to their second win of the season, beating Mt. Morris 71-31 at Beecher.
The Buccaneers started the game with an 11-0 run and never looked back. They head to Flint Southwestern on Tuesday, December 13. Mt. Morris travels to Otisville LakeVille Memorial on Friday, December 16.
After holding a halftime lead at home, Powers Catholic were outmatched in the second half by Detroit Mumford, 49-35.

Flint Northwestern overcame a late charge by Flint Northern to win their first game of 2011-12 61-55.
Northwestern heads to Detroit tomorrow to play Crockett. Northern will look to rebound against Midland Dow next Friday, December 16.
