NBC25 asked Gov. Rick Snyder what he thought of the Michigan school's chances in their respective bowls.
LANSING -- NBC 25 has been trying for weeks to get the Governor to come on the sports set to talk about his alma mater leading up to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Turns out, he is a very busy man. But... Dillon Collier did get a question in during Snyder's end of the year interviews Thursday.
"Governor, what do you think of the Wolverines in the Sugar Bowl?" Collier asked.
"That's an easy one, Go Blue!," Snyder answered. "Let's win this one. It's been a great season to see how successful the coaching staff has been with a group of athletes that are all great kids, great students. This was a year that exceeded everyone's expectations. I also want to see the Spartans win too. Let's have all Michigan teams clear the board on the bowls."
