MT MORRIS TOWNSHIP -- Arthur Hill brought a losing streak into Friday's game and so did Flint Northwestern.

The Lumberjacks had a big lead in the fourth thanks to Jordan Hare's 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 blocks. Jalen Adams also had 12 as the Arthur Hill got a non-conference win over Northwestern 59-36.

In the GAC Red, Montrose traveled to Mt Morris.

The Rams led at the break, but there was a momentum shift in the third, as the Panthers started to crawl back.

Montrose had a big fourth to seal the victory 56-44.

In the Big Nine, Carman Ainsworth headed to Flint Powers.

Cavs won their last match up a few weeks back.

History repeated itself Friday night. Denzel Watts led with 18 points as the Cavaliers beat the Chargers 53-41.

In our "In Depth" interview, 16-year-old boxer Claressa Shields came to the NBC 25 studio just before she left for the Olympic Trials in Spokane, Washington. The Flint Northwestern student boasts a record of 19-0 with 14 KO's. This year is the first that women's boxing is considered an Olympic sport.
