The Bearcats are now 17-1
BRIDGEPORT -- The Bridgeport Bearcats win their 17th game of the season—their second against Frankenmuth, 50-46.
The Bearcats were able to hold off the Eagles with great defense in the late-going. Bridgeport head coach Jason Kowalski liked how his team responded.
"We had a hard time with their 'pick and roll' in the first half," Kowalski said. "We basically just picked up the pressure."
Fenton also moved to 17-1 with a win over Flint Metro rival Swartz Creek—also for the second time this season, 72-56.
Out in the Genesee Area Conference, Hamady ends up winning its 15th conference game and 17th overall with a drubbing of Morrice 73-29.
