Spirit lose game four at home

The Saginaw Spirit lost 5-2 to the London Knights in game four Wednesday night.

SAGINAW -- Leading the series 2-1, the Saginaw Spirit had a chance to put a strangle hold on the London Knights in game four at the Dow Event Center Wednesday.

But the Knights took a commanding 4-goal lead after the first period and the Spirit never could recover.  

Jake Paterson was pulled after allowing three goals; Clint Windsor replaced him.

Vincent Trocheck scored the Spirit's only two goals in the second period as Saginaw falls 5-2.

Now, it's a best-of-three series, as game five heads back London on Friday night.

Game six will be at the Dow Event Center at 7:11 PM.
