MIDLAND -- It was tied throughout most of the game Monday, until the Silver Hawks opened it up with a 3-run 7th inning. The Great Lakes Loons lost 6-2 to South Bend on Military Appreciation Day at Dow Diamond, and fell one game behind the Silver Hawks in the Midwest League's eastern division.
