Charles Rogers failed to appear at a court hearing in Saginaw, leading to an arrest warrant being issued to the 31-year-old ex-Lion.
Rogers has been charged with making a malicious phone call and conspiring to commit that crime on March 5-6, while possessing marijuana and an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.
The former Spartan was drafted No. 2 overall in 2003 by the Detroit Lions. Rogers appeared in just 14 games over two seasons for the Lions before being cut in 2005 due to injuries and off-the-field related issues.
