DURAND -- Out of the four area teams that played in the girls high school regional finals Friday, three of them: Midland Dow, Nouvel Catholic and Fenton all lost.

But the defending state champs did not follow suit. Powers Catholic beat Williamston on June 8th to move on.

Powers' Maddi Reynolds had two goals in the 4-0 win.

The Chargers haven't been scored on all post-season.

They play Pontiac Notre Dame on Wednesday in Lake Orion in the state semifinal.
