BATTLE CREEK -- Mackenzie Boehler pitched a two-hitter and threw for 15 strikeouts as Swan Valley advanced 2-1 over Coloma Friday afternoon.

Heather Pollick hit a home run in the fourth inning, giving the Vikings the only two runs they needed in the MHSAA Division Two softball semifinal.

The Vikings will play Livonia Ladywood on Saturday afternoon.

Both Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart and Unionville-Sebewaing fell in the Division Four and Three semifinals, respectively.
