MT. MORRIS TWP. -- Defending Class B State Champion Goodrich could be without another player after a hard fall against Beecher.
On a fastbreak, Lady Martian guard Alexis Sevillian injured her knee after being knocked into the padding and hitting her knee on a door post under the basket.
Sevillian was carried off the floor and tended to on the sidelines. She would not return to the game.
The Martians are already without senior guard and Penn State commit Aketra Sevillian, Alexis’ sister, who is out for the season with a torn ACL.
Goodrich won 77-39, moving to 4-0 on the season.
In Flint, the Hamady Hawks defeated the Byron Eagles 66-30.
Sophomore Sydnee McDonald led the Lady Hawks with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
