MONTROSE -- The Goodrich Martians defeated Montrose 78-69, giving the Rams their first loss of the season after a 5-0 start.
Goodrich junior Alec Myers led the team with 19 points. The Martians improve to 4-2 (3-0 in GAC) while Montrose is now 5-1 (2-1 in GAC).
In Flint, Carman-Ainsworth beat Flint Southwestern 64-63 in overtime. On the girls side, the Lady Cavaliers defeated Flint Southwestern 47-43.
