FLINT -- The Mott Bears avenged an earlier loss to Owens Community College, beating the Express, 76-68, Thursday night at Ballenger Fieldhouse.

 

Sophomore Fred Mattison led the Bears with 19 points and seven rebounds. Freshman Devin Foster added 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

 

The Bears forced 21 turnovers, including 12 steals, on the night.

 

After a holiday break, Mott (9-1) returns to action on December 29, hosting Daley Community College.

 

In the earlier game, Mott’s women also avenged their loss to Owens, winning 77-70.
