A CPA has been brought in to help manage deficit
Larry Watkins, interim Superintendent for Flint Community Schools
FLINT -- The Flint school board is hoping to combat its multi-million-dollar deficit by bringing some outside help to manage the district's finances.
The board has approved contracting services with certified public accountant Linda Holloway.
Holloway will be responsible for preparing budgets, presenting financial reports, and working with the state on its deficit-elimination plan.
