MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP -- Kathryn Thomas had 20 points and Hamady ralled from a 28-17 halftime deficit to beat top ranked Olivet 60-51 in overtime Tuesday night in the Class C regional semifinals.

The Eagles dominated the first half and looked at times like they would run away with it.

Hamady hosts Pewamo-Westphalia Thursday night with the winner advancing to the state quarterfinals.

Also in Class C, New Lothrop eliminated Brown City thanks to a 50-39 triumph at Genesee High School.

Krista Moore led the Hornets with 15 points.

Thursday, New Lothrop matches up with perennial powerhouse Saginaw Nouvel.

In Class A, Flushing disposed of former Big Nine rival Grand Blanc 48-41.

Jordan LaDuke had 22 points for the Raiders, who host Midland Dow in the regional finals.
