Brandon, Davison, Carrollton also win big games

LAPEER -- Lapeer West rolled over their cross-town rivals Lapeer East in a 30-7 victory Friday night.

Lapeer East's Gary Bulzan threw three interceptions and no touchdowns, while the Panthers' Hunter Sharrard threw three touchdowns on the way to the win.

Davison earned their first win of the season, knocking off 2-1 Flushing 40-35.

The Cardinals ran for 460 total yards over Flushing, with Maverick Prine earning 197 and three scores.

Carrollton improved to 4-0 with a big win over Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary by a score of 54-28.

The Cavaliers accumulated 277 total rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns.

Brandon defeated Flint Northwestern in a tough game for the Wildcats, where they lost 40-14.

With the win, the Blackhawks move to a 3-1 record on the season.
