Flint Northern, Montrose also win big
MT. MORRIS TWP. -- Hamady's Sandon Swims scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Hawks defeated the New Lothrop Hornets 52-41.
"I felt I had to finish for my team," Swims said after the game. "We were supposed to come out with intensity and passion. Coach [Archie Robinson] drilled it in our heads and that's what we went to do."
With the win, Hamady improves to 6-0 (3-0 in GAC).
Flint Northern dominated Mt. Pleasant, earning their second win of the season 70-29.
Montrose improved to 5-1 (3-0 in GAC) after winning against Mt. Morris 67-29.
