FLINT -- Darrius Toins' 16 point performance helped give the Vikings a big 67-61 win over Bay City Western.

"We played well," Toins said after the victory. "I knew we could do it. Could have been better, but we played well."

In the Flint Metro Conference, the Lapeer West girls blew away cross-town rival Lapeer East 56-12.

Powers Catholic won their Big Nine rivalry game with Flushing 60-47.

In our "In-Depth" interview, Mott head coach Steve Schmitt credited great players for the great program he has spearheaded.
