SAGINAW -- The Florida Panthers announced Monday that the team has come to terms on an entry-level contract with Vincent Trocheck.
Trocheck was selected by the Panthers in the third round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Trocheck had 85 points in 65 regular season games with the Saginaw Spirit in 2011-2012. He also had 11 points in 12 playoff games.
Trocheck is the second Spirit player to sign with an NHL in the past week. Josh Shalla signed an entry-level deal with the Nashville Predators.
