Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand recently spoke to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell regarding three Lions players, all of whom are facing possible suspension in the 2012 season.

Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley, running back Mikel Leshoure, and tackle Johnny Culbreath were all subject of discussion. All three were 2011 draft picks for Detroit.

While Culbreath is on his first offence and may not receive a suspension, both Fairley and Leshoure have been arrested twice in the offseason. The two have both been arrested for marijuana possession, and Fairley was also arrested driving under the influence.

After speaking with Goodell, Lewand still doesn't know what type of discipline his players will receive.

Lewand would not speculate what kind of decision Goodell will make. He told MLive "When there's news, I'll give it to you. I'm not going to speculate."
