The North American Hockey League has released the teams and divisional alignment for the upcoming season. The league consists of 24-teams and is divided into four divisions which cover 13 states.
There are eight teams competing in the North division. The teams are the Jamestown Ironmen, Janesville Jets, Johnstown Tomahawks, Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, Michigan Warriors, Port Huron Fighting Falcons, Soo Eagles and Springfield Jr. Blues.
Six teams will battle for the South division. The teams which compile the South are the Amarillo Bulls, Corpus Christi IceRays, Odessa Jackalopes, Texas Tornado, Topeka RoadRunners and Wichita Falls Wildcats.
The six teams competing in the Central division are the Aberdeen Wings, Austin Bruins, Bismarck Bobcats, Brookings Blizzard, Coulee Region Chill and Minot Minotauros.
Lastly, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs, Fresno Monsters, Kenai River Brown Bears and Wenatchee Wild will compete for the top spot in the West division.
