FENTON -- Fenton soccer came up just shy of winning the Flint Metro League title, but started off the post season right on Monday night, by shutting out Brandon 3-0 to move on to the district semi finals against Linden Wednesday.

Fenton's Jake Davis scored first from about 25 yards out off the point of the 18 yard box just inside the near post at the 33:55 mark.

In the 11th minute of the 1st half, Anthony Flannery found Julian Weinberg at the top of the 18 for a one timer to make it 2 - 0 at the half.

Fenton completed the scoring in the 2nd half when Jake Davis sent a back post pass to A J Huntley who finished his shot to provide the final 3 - 0 score.
