A former Bay City Central High and Syracuse Orange basketball player is taking the first step in his professional career, and going far out west to do it.

The NBA Developmental League's Reno Bighorns officially announced Saturday they have signed Eric Devendorf. He will be in uniform and activated for the Bighorns' game tonight.
