MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP -- Arlesia Morse had 16 points and 14 rebounds and the defending Class C champion Hamady Hawks beat Carman-Ainsworth 63-44 Monday night at Hamady High School.

Day'na Holmes added ten points for the host Hawks, who were celebrating breast cancer awareness by wearing pink warmups and pink shoelaces.

At Clio High School, the Mustangs held off a late rally from Holly and beat the Bronchos 45-33.

Holly had 17 points in the fourth quarter, after scoring just 16 pointsduring the first three quarters combined.
