(AP) -- EAST LANSING, Mich. - Mateen Cleaves and Goran Suton were hugging current players and hanging out at the Breslin Center one day after the Spartans advanced to the Final Four.

It was just another afternoon at Michigan State, where coach Tom Izzo's dream of building a family atmosphere and an elite program has come true.

Cleaves led the Spartans to their second national title a decade ago in Indianapolis - the site of this week's Final Four - after Earvin "Magic" Johnson won their first in an epic event against Larry Bird-led Indiana State in 1979.

The Michigan State icons, Suton and other former players are expected to be in the stands Saturday when Izzo's sixth team in college basketball's showcase faces the hometown Butler Bulldogs.
