MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP -- The Lake Fenton softball team beat Flint Powers 9-7 in game one, but heavy rains and a dominating pitching effort from the Chargers' Jessica Thick  in game two kept the Blue Devils from getting a sweep Friday at Flint Powers High School.

The umpires called the second game in the 4th inning with Powers leading 5-0.  A steady rain became a downpour and the teams were forced to end the doubleheader early.
