BIRCH RUN -- Senior Mariah Wilson had seven kills and a pair of blocks and Birch Run got by visiting Freeland 25-13, 27-25, 8-25, 25-18 Wednesday night in high school volleyball.

The Panthers came firing out of the gates, scoring the first six points of the opening set.

The Falcons called timeout and regrouped, but the damage had already been done.
