Bears improve to 22-2 overall
UNIVERSITY CENTER -- The Mott Bears got 27 points and ten rebounds from Doug Anderson and used a dominant second half to win at Delta College 86-65 Monday night.
Free throw shooting trumped athleticism in the first half, as the host Pioneers took a 31-30 lead into the break.
But the Bears exploded for 56 points in the final 20 minutes to improve to 22-2 (10-1).
Mott travels to Macomb Community College Wednesday night.
Sophomore Leviante Davis did not travel with the team, and head coach Steve Schmidt has confirmed that he has been dismissed from the program.
