Do you think U of M will be able to regain some pride and beat Appalachian State?

ANN ARBOR -- The University of Michigan is asking for a re-do against Appalachian State.

In 2007, the Wolverines walked away more like a dog with its tail between its legs, after the second-tier team won the opener 34-32.

But, new coach Brady Hoke says he wants to take on the challenge, and prove that Michigan’s still the powerhouse.  He’s scheduled to go head-to-head against the rival for the 2014 opening game.

Brady Hoke has replaced Michigan’s previous coach, Rich Rodriguez, who was fired at the end of last season after three years of embarrassing losses to the most winningest program and NCAA violations.

This year, U of M will kickoff the season on September 3rd at home against Western Michigan University.

How do you think Michigan will do with new coach Brady Hoke this coming season?
