Saginaw Valley, Big Nine conferences showcase strong performances

Saginaw, Bay City Western, Flint Powers, Carman-Ainsworth win big
SAGINAW -- Bay City Western powered through Arthur Hill by a score of 42-13, moving them to 2-0 in the Saginaw Valley Conference.
Bay City Western (3-0) hosts Saginaw (2-1) next week and Arthur Hill (0-3) will travel to Midland (2-1)
Saginaw topped Bay City Central in a 34-20 game, leaving the Wolves still winless this season.
Saginaw travels to Bay City Western (3-0) next week and Bay City Central (0-3) will play host to Flint Southwestern (1-2).
St. Charles rolled to a 39-21 victory over Saginaw MLS on Friday night, capturing the Bulldogs first win of the season.
St. Charles (1-2) will travel to Saginaw Valley Lutheran (1-2) next week, while MLS (2-1) will go to Carrollton (3-0).
Carman-Ainsworth shut out the home team Flushing 21-0, earning the Cavaliers their first victory of the year.
And in the other Big Nine matchup, Flint Powers outlasted a tough game against Davison, with Powers taking the game 32-27.
Carman-Ainsworth (1-2) will host Flint Powers (1-2), while Flushing (2-1) will travel to Davison (0-3).
