LINDEN -- Lake Fenton knocked off a tough Beecher Bucs team 35-21, leaving the Blue Devils perfect in the GAC Red Conference.

The Blue Devil run attack was vicious, as Rob Kesler and Bryce Frownfelter combined for 344 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Holly won big over winless Clio by a score of 42-6.

The Bronchos scored all 42 of their points in the first half and held Clio scoreless in the second half.

Rough and tumble Brandon won a close match-up with the Fenton Tigers 21-12.

Blackhawk quarterback Shane Mahaffy threw for two scores in the Flint Metro Conference showdown.

Bay City Central won a shootout over Flint Northern 49-36.

The Wolves Andre Houston and Cameron Sullivan combined for 126 rushing yards and three scores, while Vikings QB Richmond Lewis threw five touchdowns.

Lake Fenton (4-1) will travel to play Goodrich, Bay City Central (2-3) hosts Midland, Brandon (4-1) will await visiting Lapeer East and Holly (3-2) head out to play at Kearsley next week.

Beecher (3-2) hosts LakeVille, Fenton (3-2) hosts Clio (0-5) and Flint Northern travels to Arthur Hill next week.
