GRAND BLANC -- It was the girls quarterfinals Tuesday in high school basketball, which meant one more win and they play at the Breslin Center.

Following their regional final win over Midland, Saginaw Arthur Hill met Ann Arbor Huron in Grand Blanc.

Arthur Hill began the game with a 6-0 run, but Huron responded with their own 8-0 run. Devin Talley scored 17 points to lead Huron. Bianca Williams chipped in 10, as the River Rats led by four after one quarter.

Huron continued to roll through three more quarters. They beat Arthur Hill 52-39 to move on the semifinal round.

In Class B, Goodrich continued their perfect season Tuesday night, beating Detroit Country Day 56-47. They move on to the semifinal against Dearborn Divine Child on Friday night at the Breslin Center.

Another Class B game, Freeland beat Gladstone 66-52, they move on to the semifinal round against Grand Rapids Catholic Central.

In Class C, Saginaw Nouvel fell to Morley Stanwood 59-44.

In Class D, Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary lost to Waterford Our Lady 38-30.
