The former Saginaw High standout can play in 2012
EAST LANSING -- Former Saginaw High standout DeAnthony Arnett has been cleared by the NCAA to play for Michigan State in 2012, a university spokesperson confirmed.
Arnett, who played wide receiver at Tennessee in 2011, requested a transfer to MSU to be closer to his father who has fallen ill.
Both Arnett and head coach Mark Dantonio confirmed the NCAA’s decision on Twitter through MSU Football’s Twitter page.
"I'm glad everything is taken care of, so I can concentrate on preparing to have an impact on the team this fall," Arnett said in a Tweet through MSU’s handle.
