AVON, OHIO -- After winning four straight elimination games, the Central Michigan baseball team lost to Kent State 3-1.

Outfielder William Arnold, from Mt. Pleasant, batted in the only run for the Chippewas.

The Chips finish their season at 34-29. It was the second time in three years CMU played in the championship game.
