SEBEWAING -- Unionville-Sebewaing said they are looking forward to the opportunity to beat Vassar for the first time in school history.

SInce Vassar has joined the Greater Thumb West, the Patriots are 0-4 against the Vulcans.

In order for that trend to end, they say they have to play their type of football as well as contain the Vucans and their athleticism.

"We're a run-first team," senior lineman Joe Lutz said. "Patriot football has been 'Full-House T' for a long time and our team has no intention of changing that."

"This is a big week for us," senior quarterback Jak Beachy said. "We always look forward to playing Vassar. they're a good opponent."

The Patriots will head to Vassar on Friday for the NBC25 Game of the Week. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.
