LINDEN -- The former president of the Linden Sportsman Club is facing charges after being accused of embezzling thousands of dollars from the club.

The Genesee County Sheriff says Steven Fowler made more than $10,000 in personal purchases using a club debit card.

The sheriff says the charge is a five-year felony.
