Household cleaners can be expensive to buy, and contain chemicals many consider harmful to the environment and user.  So here are a few basic all-natural cleaner recipes.  These recipes are given to me by Angela Andres from ECO Clean 4 Life in Clio.  Angela cleans businesses and houses with these more natural products.

Carpet and Rug Freshener:  1 box of baking soda and a few drops of your choice of essential oils.  Add more or less for scent strength.  Mix with a fork, sprinkle on carpets or rugs.  Leave set for about 20 minutes, and then vacuum.

Glass Cleaner:  ¼ cup of vinegar, ½ teaspoon dish soap, and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle.  Works great on chrome fixtures as well as glass.

All Purpose Cleaner:  2 Tbls Borax desolved in a cup of boiling water.  Let cool, and then mix in 3 Tbls vinegar, one ounce of Doctor Bronners soap.  Mix into an empty clean spray bottle and fill the rest of the way up with water.  You can add a few drops of any essential oils for scent that you like.  Tea Tree oil works as a disinfectant.
