Remember “Snowpalooza?” Well, now’s your chance to name this week’s heat wave.

Wednesday night through Thursday morning, temperatures reached the “highest record lows,” meaning, it’s the hottest overnight lowest temperatures our area’s soon.

The sun continues to beam down, and vicious heats continue to scorch Michigan and surrounding states.

Stay tuned to NBC25 and the NBC25 Weather Page for details and warnings on the high temperatures.  Please also remember to stay inside and stay hydrated, as the heat can be deadly.

While you’re checking out the weather page and thinking of ways to stay coo, we want to hear from you.  What should the NBC25 Weather Team call this relentless hot weather? Leave us your name ideas here or on the NBC25 Facebook page.
