FLINT -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Wednesday morning on Carton Street near Saginaw.  The shooting is the 65th homicide of the year in Flint, one shy of tying the record.

Flint Police said they were called to the scene just before 7:20 a.m. and found an unidentified black male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.  He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives have been called in and the scene is still under investigation.

No further information is available at this time.
