FLINT -- Flint fire crews are investigating what they call two suspicious fires that they believe were both set by the same person.

The first fire started a little after 11p.m. Wednesday night on the corner of Court and Grand Traverse.

Officials say the home was abandoned.

As they were fighting the fire, fire crews had to evacuate the building.

They worked to contain the fire.

The second fire broke out just down the road at another vacant home on the corner of Grand Traverse and Fifth Street.

That’s directly across from Hurley Medical Center.

Fire officials say it started in the attic.

Police and fire crews are investigating both of these incidents and calling them suspicious.

No injuries are reported.
