GRAND BLANC -- Genesee County 911 reports Saginaw Road, the main road through Grand Blanc, is flooded at a railroad underpass, just south of the GM Weld Tool Center.

At last report, 3 cars were struck in the water. 2 cars stalled out and are occupied with stranded motorists.

Grand Blanc is shutting down Saginaw Street from Center Road to the GM Plant, just south of Hill.

This is a stretch of road that tradionally floods during heavy rain and today was no exception.

If you see high water, don't drive through it.

You may think you can drive through, but your car can stall out, causing damage to your car.

Go around any standing water, especially if it's above your wheels.

Also flooded out: Midland 911 reports Andrews between Eastman and Orchard. Andrews has been shut down while crews try to remove the water.
